The position of the Villa is particulary good for those who, during their holiday, want to visit the remaining sites of the Sorrento Coast, or going into the hinterland of Campania. The villa is situated in the small village of Torca; a few minutes there's the chance to visit Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, full of traditions and known all around Italy for the wonderful food recipes.
Using the public transportation lines of Sita you will reach Sorrento. From there ferries will leave to visit the island Ischia and Capri. Via sea you can also reach the archeological sites of Pompei and Ercolaneum. On the other side you will coast the sea of the Gulf of Salerno, going through Positano and Amalfi.

The Sea

The sea is a true wonder to those who dive. With diving suit and flippers you can explore wonderful sea-bottoms and a lot of natural grottos. Along the coast, between Positano and Marina del Cantone, you can take part to underwater trips, with an expert guide.
Who love trips on ships will only have to choose among many occasions, collective and individual, that the tourist will have to admire the seacost.
Don't say no to a walk to Fiordo di Crapolla, along a path with over 500 steps that lead to the sea, and that come one after the other, without any problem in a wonderful landscape with marvellous nature and thousand-year cultivations. Among the rocks of the promontory, the typical Mediterranean flora and the old olive and lemon groves are a deposition of the work of farmers.
That is how you reach Crapolla beach, laid down at the end of a small fjord, natural shelter of local fishermen.
The legend says that San Pietro once arrived in this fjord, in his journey towards Rome, and here, in his memory there's an abbey dedicated to him; nowadays there's only a small votive chapel. Not far, remains of Roman architecture, the ruins of an ancient cistern to collect rain water.
Organized walks invite, at the end of stop, after a dive in the sea and a snack on the beach, to come back on a ship from the Fjord, along the uneven coast, to the mainland of Marina del Cantone.
